Ok, anyone who has ever used it and was succesful at using it correctly knows that Blender is the greatest thing ever to be concieved on their hard-drive. But i have a slight issue i wish to address, 3DS MAX what about this program is so great? every time you look at 3D project on here 80% of them are created using MAX, WHY!? What about MAX is so great, blender has everything and with proper technique i have seen equal if not better outcomes than MAX. Is MAX easier or more rewarding I would like to know from the viewpoint of someone who has used both. Personally i have never used MAX but Blender on the top of my all time favorite programs list. Once learned Blender is phenominal, and over all else IT IS FREEEEEE! 100% no strings attached, linux style free! I refuse to hand more money over to microsoft for a program who's twin sister is more sexy and free. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Micrsoft hater, as a matter of fact i am a network administrator for the DOD and I know microsoft like i know every episode of Family Guy but hey open source products are like a never ending christmas for us tech guys. So please someone give me some feedback about the big difference between the two great 3D programs, I dont intend to get MAX but it would be nice to know, "WHY?"

Honestly, of everything I put on deviant art my pride and joy is my favorites collection. I collect only the pictures that give me a certain feeling when i see them. They have to strike a strong emotion in order to be what i would consider a true piece of art. So if i have given your work a favorite than that means that to me, at least, its really something special, i don't give a favorite to just anything.

Taken from,"The Average Military Man"
He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to 'square-away' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking. In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.
He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away.
He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay and still find ironic humor in it all. He has seen more suffering and death then he should have in his short lifetime.
Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom.

Beardless or not, he is not a boy.

He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.

He has asked nothing in return, except our friendship and understanding.

Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood.

September 12, 2008 is up-and-coming for me, on that day i will be beginning my journey through the land called "bootcamp". I've never been more excited in my life, in less than 4 months i will be a United States Sailor and i will finally be completely sure of where i'm going in life.  One of my secondary goals while in the NAVY is to capture a photo on every continent, except Antarctica, so that i can remember all that i will see in the world. I will be back, with photos :D Wish me luck everyone.
